Glad this is turning out to be an interesting thread for many

Mrx if you do find that / or a link between the link please share it so we can investigate more

I agree that Jinn’s are different to ET’s, and that they are more associated with elemental spirits, but cannot be certain of this, when push comes to shove do we really know???Jinn (Arabic: جن ǧinn, singular جني ǧinnī ; variant spelling djinn) or genies are supernatural creatures in Arab folklore and Islamic teachings that occupy a parallel world to that of mankind. Together, jinn, humans and angels make up the three sentient creations of Allah.
No we don`t. Likewise do we know that they are even real..... there is more evidence presented for the existence of ETs and yowies.... Jinn being responsible for this phenomena is a possibility, but it would probably come in at the bottom of my list of probabilities.....Dion: I agree that Jinn’s are different to ET’s, and that they are more associated with elemental spirits, but cannot be certain of this, when push comes to shove do we really know???
I tend to agree with you there. Many so-called ET species may very well be extra-dimensional in nature. It is also possible that many ET species have reached an advanced technology state that allows them to interact and utilise other dimensional levels of existence.... They themselves however, may exist in realities more akin to our own. Much in the same manner that we interact with other environments like deep underwater and outer space.... these are not our home environments and it is primarily only through our technological advancements that allows us to interact and manifest within these environments.Dion: Jinn’s are known to be supernatural beings from a parallel world, another dimension??? I do believe that what we perceive as ET’s "could"??? fall under this hypothesis.
There are sacrifices in studying these types of subjects no doubt about it, but that is consistent with the many breaththroughs which have occurred throughout human history. New knowledge, theories, technology has ALWAYS been met with resistance. Look at many of our great scientist - they often had turbulent careers met with resistance at every turn, often going unrecognised in their own lifetime only to be acknowledged in full by future generations. The great social advancements made by our species, for example the civil rights movement, A HUGE EFFORT, MUCH PAIN AND GREAT RESISTANCE, but in the pages of history it was well worth the effort . The study and pursuit of the paranormal is just a current reflection of this tendency of our species. Maybe, in a future point in our history the study of these fields will be vindicated. When that will occur is another question? Maybe our lifetime, maybe not?Since the Jinn effectively erase their artifacts and themselves from human understanding, proponents and contactees are usually left holding a whole lot of nothing. They risk (and often lose) their reputations, marriages and careers. Many have expended enormous time, money, and energy only to conclude that they and have perhaps wasted part or their lives. So it appears to be either a scary or foolish thing to devote oneself to the study of the UFO phenomenon and to telling people about the Jinn. So I ask myself -- why do I bother?
I keep at it because I love mysteries and enjoy search activities. I recognize the existence of unseen worlds because I've seen too much of them to deny it. But mostly because KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. Interaction with these guys can be terrifying, crazy making, and dangerous because you're fooled by them. Once you know about the Jinn, you're not so likely to be a victim, worshiper or fool.
Not a fan of this author though Joe.... the unquestioning, self-assurance in the existence of the Jinn, a subject often considered intangible even within paranormal circles sets my alarm bells ringing.... Anyone professing to HAVE the answers without question (as this individual seems to think) should be taken with caution. I think that UFOs and yowies are real, but I base that belief on a huge body of work made by countless researchers of those associated fields over numerous decades.... In saying that I am still open to contrainidicating material especially on a case by case analysis. I am yet to see the same in-depth level of research and collective body of work to support the existence of the Jinn in comparison to fields like UFOlogy. I am not saying that the Jinn don`t exist, just questioning how the author can be so sure in their belief/s???Joe Black: What I like about this quote, is regardless of whether the Jinn concept has any reality or is a flight of fancy, there are a number of truths, particularly the one I have highlighted in red. The importance of that quote should not be underestimated as a warning for anybody pursuing this field as a pastime, hobby, or as general interest.
